The Weekend Residential Retreat will be held at Park Place Pastoral Centre, Wickham, Fareham, Hampshire.
It will start at 5pm on Friday 9 July, ending at 5pm 11 July 2010.

The Retreat Centre

The Pastoral Centre at Park Place is a unique and attractive location run by Franciscan Sisters, most of whom come from India. The Centre is based in a fine old Georgian House set in eighteen acres of attractive grounds, in the Hampshire countryside close to the village of Wickham, four miles from Fareham.

It offers a location where people of all faiths or none can withdraw from the demands and distractions of everyday life and relax in an environment of peace and calm. The Centre has a unique Indian / Franciscan ambience with its East / West spirituality.

The Retreat

The day will consist of several meditations as well as question and answer sessions with Babaji – an invaluable opportunity to draw upon the spiritual wisdom of a Yogi. Each day ends with some devotional singing.

This is a unique and wonderful chance to withdraw from the world, devoting full attention to spiritual practice amidst the tranquil Hampshire countryside in the company of a Realised Master.

The weekend programme is suitable for adults only. Chairs will be available for meditation.

As a Yogi, Babaji never charges for spiritual instruction – the cost covers the expenses of the retreat, including all meals, from Friday evening meal to Sunday lunch.

Accommodation

The Retreat Centre provides a selection of accommodation at different prices.

There are two rooms designed for wheelchair users, each having a bathroom connecting with a carer's room, if required. Cost £125.00 per person. The other choices are:

• Single en-suite: £140.00
• Single standard (not en-suite): £125.00
• Twin en-suite (two people sharing): £125.00 per person
• Twin standard (not en-suite) two people sharing: £105.00 per person

These rooms will be allocated on a 'first come, first served' basis, based on when the correctly completed form is received with full payment. It would be helpful if you let us know your second choice in the event that the room type you request is not available. Towels are provided, but please bring your own toilette requisites.

Food

All meals will be vegetarian. Please indicate on the form if you would like Indian or European cooking. Please state any allergies or dietary restrictions. The centre will endeavour to help, where possible, if given sufficient notice.
